The IT Club
Founded in 2018, The IT Club is a nationwide student-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing global e-waste and bringing computers to underserved students to enable education opportunities. We prevent outdated and malfunctioning computers from becoming e-waste, and make technology accessible for students who otherwise wouldn't have access to a computer.
We're a team of college, high school and middle school students who are passionate about giving back to the community. We collect disused computers, refurbish and donate them to underserved students. We provide free IT services to communities and share our knowledge in STEM with younger students.
Need a Computer?
We got you! With several donation events under our belt and dozens of computers ready for donation, hit us an email at admin@the-it-club.org. We'll get back to you ASAP and we can hook you up, as long as you can pay for shipping (if necessary) and you provide us with a picture of your student ID.
Free IT Services For The Community
We believe that repair should be an easily accessible method to revive and rejuvenate any device.
We offer repair services for devices at cost. By prolonging the life of existing devices, together, we prevent outdated and malfunctioning computers from becoming e-waste, because broken is not the end.
Computer Donations For Students in Need
Computers are becoming increasingly crucial to in-person education. And yet, 35% of households in the US with school-age children and an annual income of under $30,000 do not have access to adequate technology for education.
We refurbish computers and bring them to underrepresented students.
STEM Education For Younger Students
We share our interests in STEM with diverse populations. Our goal is to inspire younger students to pursue STEM.
Our STEM classes and speaker events provide opportunities for highly motivated students to explore STEM-related fields, and to be better prepared to face the challenges of a science- and technology-driven society.
