STEM Career Talks
Our STEM Career Talks is a speaker series hosted by the IT Club targeting grades 6th to 12th, aiming to guide students to pursue their passion in STEM. We invite college students and professionals to talk about their journey into their specific majors and professions to provide students with a firsthand look into the possible futures they might find themselves in.

About IT Club STEM Speaker Series
There are vast amounts of STEM opportunities in today’s world, but students are having trouble discovering what career they truly want to explore and pursue due to a lack of or overload of information and resources. Our speakers talk about:
Their personal journey – description of their background, experience, and what eventually inspired them to pursue their field
Description of their work or subject with their major in college and their internships/jobs
Cool projects they've worked on (to give attendees insight on what they might get to do in that major)
Advice (what to do if a middle/high schooler is interested in your field and how to find their passion)
